We love dogs and you are very welcome to bring your well-behaved doggies into our Haddington Café & Restaurant
We kindly ask that you keep your dog under control, preferably under the table, away from the walkways for safety reasons and for the comfort of other guests. We ask that you don't allow your dog on the furniture or to sit on your lap where the temptation to lick the table or plates may be too great for him or her to resist.
There is no law which prevents dogs having access to any business premises as long as there are measures in place to prevent them from accessing any food storage or preparation areas.
Hedwig the black Dobermann girl pictured above was our soppy, loving rescue dog for five years, re-homed from the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, where we sponsor a kennel each year. Hedwig died naturally in April 2016.
Unable to cope without a Dobermann in our lives, we are delighted to introduce Wotan, a handsome brown Dobermann boy, re-homed from Fond of Dobermanns who do amazing work giving Dobermanns of all backgrounds better lives.
