Gullane is a picturesque village on the East coast of Scotland between Aberlady and North Berwick, about 20 miles from Edinburgh.

With four high quality eighteen-hole golf courses, including Muirfield, which regularly hosts The Open Championship (next time in 2013), Gullane is a popular golfing destination. Gullane Golf Club also hosts international championship golf events and is an Open Championship Qualifying course.

For the non-golfers, the village's award-winning beach 'Gullane Bents' makes a beautiful leisurely walk on a sunny day and is also popular with wind and kite surfers.
